From the Adelaide Hills, this Sagrantino has intense juicy aromas of rhubarb, stewed fruits, cherry, raspberry and all those bright red and full flavoured fruits. The back palate is very subtle but offers some great secondary characteristics with toasty oak and a delicate black pepper hint. A really great wine to appreciate on its own, you can even try it chilled down slightly on a hot summers day. Best paired with most Italian foods like pizza, pasta and anything with black truffles.

The Heritage Selection Range represents varieties originating from Central and Southern parts of Italy. They are classic wines that show big velvety tannins, high acidity and red fruits. This Range is designed for those big traditional hearty Mediterranean dishes. See more from our Heritage Selection Range here.
