From the Adelaide Hills, this full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon reflects classic Cabernet. This intense wine opens into ripe mulberry, hints of eucalyptus and chocolate with overtones of cedar and spice. The mouth feel is comforting and cosy yet is built around firm, fine-grained tannins. A warm, mellow wine of very fine style that has been aged in French barrels, new and old, for 26 months. Best paired with braised beef, lamb or thyme roasted mushroom and polenta.
