Sangiovese wine from the Adelaide Hills, this traditional blend of Sangiovese and Lagrein delivers a superior appreciation of red blends to the consumer through the lifted aromas of black raspberries and plums with spices such as cinnamon or nutmeg. Yet, on the palate it’s bigger & richer than expected although it does come off as rustic, with a dry acidity that makes it great with food. This Sangiovese wine is for drinking from tumblers at well-laden tables, with three or four generations of family. Best paired with tomato-based dishes such as red sauce pasta.

The wines have traditional Italian varieties grown at the Amadio family vineyards in the Adelaide Hills. Danniel Amadio along with his father Caj, planned these wines from the vineyard up. They are to fill the place of the old-style Italian ‘family wines’ remembered from childhood. See more from our Vino Di Famiglia Range here.
