Tasting Notes

This Sagrantino wine from the Adelaide Hills features intense, juicy aromas of rhubarb, stewed fruits, cherry, raspberry, and other bright red, full-flavored fruits. It offers subtle yet excellent secondary characteristics, including toasty oak and a delicate hint of black pepper on the back palate. This wine is perfect for enjoying on its own and can even be savored slightly chilled on a hot summer day. It pairs best with Italian foods such as pizza, pasta, and dishes with black truffles.

The Heritage Selection represents varieties originating from Central and Southern parts of Italy. They are classic wines that show big velvety tannins, high acidity and red fruits. This Range is designed for those big traditional hearty Mediterranean dishes. See more from our Heritage Selection here.
