The Italian variety Nebbiolo naturally makes a pale red wine, and is dry and savoury but with good flavour depth, so is perfect for premium Rosé production. Pale orange to pink. Savoury cranberry and raspberry aromas. Very light, dry and savoury yet with good red berry fruit depth, some cut grass, dried herb and white pepper notes, supple drying acidity and a light touch of confectionary to finish, such as musk stick.
The Horse & Cart Series is a tribute to Giovanni Amadio, first generation winemaker in the Amadio family. He would visit the Adelaide markets by horse and cart to deliver his fresh locally grown produce from Felixstow, South Australia.
