- Our Vineyards
The Adelaide Hills is arguably Australia's most vibrant premier cool climate wine region and is well known around the world for its distinctive premium wines, viticulture and stunning scenery. The Amadio Family Vineyard is the largest holding producer in the Adelaide Hills supplying regional varietal grapes to Amadio Wines and other iconic Australian wineries.
The vineyard is located North of the Adelaide Hills wine region between the areas of Kersbrook and Williamstown. An area that is considerably warmer and drier than other areas in the region causing the low-vigour fruit to ripen earlier with more tannin and lower acidity.
With over 300 acres planted, the vineyard supplies an array of grape varieties. In the white: Sauvignon Blanc, Fiano, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Arneis and Moscato. In the red: Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Grenache, Sangiovese, Barbera, Dolcetto, Tempranillo, Montepulciano Aglianico, Sagrantino and Nero d’Avola. Together, these grapes can create over a million bottles of wine.
