The Misura 800 can be described as near perfect. Misura, meaning 'measurement' reflects the precise methods used in the process from vine to bottle to produce this great wine. Hand-picked from selected A-grade vineyards with low yielding Shiraz vines in South Australia, this wine is fermented in new American and French Oak barrels for a period of 18 months. A second term of oak maturation of up to 6 months in two year old oak is used to finely balance the rich fruits and great depth of this wine. To ensure further quality control whilst in bottle, it is carefully cellared under optimum wine conditions before being hand wrapped and laid down to mature in its hand crafted wooden box. The Misura 800 will develop further complexity and softness for up to 15 years.
