Third generation winemaker Danniel Amadio, son of Gaetano, has substantially expanded the AMADIO brand by sourcing premium fruit from his family’s Kersbrook, Adelaide Hills vineyards while maintaining ‘hands on’ production standards and honoring family custom. Danniel's AMADIO wines embraces the best fruit flavours and ‘terra’ characteristics of each regional varietal, producing wines of great depth and natural character.

The impressive list of national and international trophies and gold medals awarded to AMADIO wines thus far, vintage after vintage, bears positive testimony to a consistent standard of premium quality, founded on determined and integral legacy of family winemaking.

As a Finalist in 2009 Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the year” and Finalist in the 2007 South Australian business awards for Hong Kong / China Entrepreneur for excellence in Bilateral Trade, Danniel’s success in International trade and business has been well documented. With dedication to producing premium quality wine in every bottle, Danniel assures all of his customers he has his finger on the pulse in every aspect of production from the vine to bottle.

A family man who enjoys time with his wife Biljana and two sons, Sebastien and Christian, Danniel hopes one day that the 4th and 5th generations of his own family will continue the family history of fine craftsmanship. With a passion for food passed down through generations, Danniel also plans to share gourmet food and recipes from the family table to complement the impressive range of AMADIO wines.
