Intensely juicy aromas, rhubarb, stewed fruits, cherry, raspberry, all those bright red and full flavoured fruits. The back palate is very subtle but offers some great secondary characteristics with toasty oak and a delicate but necessarily obvious black pepper hint. A very jammy finish with subtle tannins and acid. Really great wine to appreciate on its own, possibly even chilled down slightly on a hot summers day.
